Cool! Upgraded iPad to IOS 4.2 beta and it is actually running ipv6:

IPv6 address: 2001:0610:07b7:0000:xxxx:62ff:fe86:yyyy
Reverse DNS resolution: V6-CORP.asd.nl.ipv6.net.
Your Browser: Mozilla/5.0 iPad U CPU OS 42 like Mac OS X en-us)

Simply browse to this site and your IPv6 address will show up in the 'Your IP address' block on the right hand side. ;D

comcast DSL modem
dlink dir-655 with latest firmware (IPv4)
ipad with latest firmware
Tried using dhcp and wins on Comcast ipv6 DNS

can't get wifi ipv6 on the ipad, only ipv4. Though can get it on my Win7 PC Laptop.Is it because I don't have an IPV6 router? When I connect via 3G microcell is is also ipv4. This IPV6 test in June is going to be a disaster.>:(

This is a good idea to upgrade iPad to IOS 4.2 beta which can ruin ipv6. IPv6 is the latest IP address type which includes more features than old IPv4. IOS 4.2 supports IPv6 so, it’s better to use it for iPad. Thanks for your information and discuss.
